MASHANTUCKET, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--After celebrating their first victory in more than 40 years, the entire Boston Bruins team including goalie/playoff MVP Tim Thomas, Captain Zdeno Chara, Assistant Captain Patrice Bergeron, Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, and Shawn Thornton went straight from their celebratory parade on the streets of Boston to SHRINE at MGM Grand at Foxwoods and High Rollers Luxury Lanes & Lounge at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Saturday night where they partied like rock stars, racking up a bill of more than $150,000 as thousands of enthusiastic fans cheered them on. The celebration came together after a congratulatory text from SHRINE and High Rollers Partner Ed Kane to Bruins star Thornton, who replied “we will see you at SHRINE after the parade.”

After the team arrived at SHRINE for their late-night celebration, owners Ed Kane, Joe Kane and Randy Greenstein hand delivered a 30 liter bottle of Ace of Spades “Midas” champagne, costing more $100,000. The bottle, which is one of six in existence, was double the size of the 15 liter Ace of Spades brut that Mavericks owner Mark Cuban purchased for his team after their NBA Championship victory just one week ago. The bottle, which was signed by every Bruins team member in attendance, will be on display at High Rollers and will be raffled off at a later date to benefit the Bruins foundation.

After passing the massive bottle around from player to player, the B’s drank the bubbly out of Lord Stanley’s Cup and in the heat of the moment, Marchand jumped on the bar and showered the crowd.

Earlier in the evening, the team hit the lanes at High Rollers Luxury Lanes & Lounge with the Stanley Cup in tow. While there, the players fueled up on beers and a hearty meal that included sliders, pizza, Philly spring rolls and Buffalo chicken rangoons to prepare for the long night ahead. The team was joined by Foxwoods President and CEO Scott Butera.

While en route to SHRINE later in the evening, the guys were cheered on by a sea of lucky casino on lookers and upon entering the nightclub, they were greeted by hundreds of wild fans as DJ Viatale blasted wiz khalifa’s “Black and Yellow' - a fitting homage to the world champions.

The next morning, the B's called on a police escorts to bring them back to Boston in time to throw the first pitch at the Red Sox game.
